It has possibly been established by this point, that I am a fan of wine. You know how the saying goes, when life hands you a grape…well, something like that.
In my journey to discover wines of all kinds, I recently toured Undurraga’s Taligante vinyard, a short, one-hour bus ride from Santiago. I happen to live in the country’s most productive wine region, so these types of activities are inevitable from time to time.
It’s so lovely to hear the history of each vineyard and taste their twist on something that modern man has been drinking since the beginning. Undurraga is one of Chile’s first vineyards and has been producing fine wine for more than 120 years. They also produce some great sparkling wines, of which I am quite fond.
The tour was great and fairly standard. The wine tastings were great and fairly abundant. And that my friends, makes for a wonderful spring afternoon.

Cheers!
