Ok, I got a bit sidetracked with life, but I’m back, and we’re back to the Machu Picchu journey.

Tipón was another ruin that we visited, relatively close to the city of Cusco. To be honest, this was our last stop on what was a very long day, ruin-ridden, and it didn’t strike me until later how truly interesting it is.

The beginning of an enormous, complex irrigation system that still functions flawlessly to this day. The Incans found such a constant water supply that hundreds of years later, the water flows just as it always has; moreover, at one point, the water is perfectly divided into two flows, each flowing at the exact same pace. If you place a cup under each flow at the exact same time, the cups will fill up at the exact same time. Exact.

Yet another Inca wonder.
