Seneca Rocks is located in Pendleton County and said to be formed approximately 440 million years ago. Though skilled climbers make their way to the top of those beautiful quartzite crags, I, like most, zig-zagged up the mountain on a nice little path for a mile until reaching the top of the tree line.
