All Saints Day.
It’s a funny thing how people/cultures take on the subject of death, one of life’s surest, most frequent events. Much of Chile, being very Catholic, celebrates life rather than dwelling on death. There is an afterlife; and those left behind, for now, just want to honor their loved ones’ lives with beautiful flowers and celebration.
The day, November 1, 2011 at the Cementerio General.
To quote an old favorite, Dave Matthews, “Celebrate we will, ’cause life is short, but sweet for certain.”
And then there’s the old and the new, all together in the end. Baby, in the end, age is just a number.

Seem to be fresh flowers, not fake ones, I like that—beautiful pictures!
Thanks momma! The fresh flowers are overwhelming, it’s just amazing. Your next visit :)
