What can I say, I’ve got spring fever. I took the beautiful evening after work yesterday to be outside and enjoy, and Monday Memories never got done. It’s equally beautiful today…bringing us to today’s memory:

Spring is springing!

Now I can’t go so far as to say spring has sprung, but it’s so close I can smell it, literally. Winter is losing its grip and life is prevailing! Trees are budding, the days are warming and the city has that buzz of excitement that only spring –la primavera– can provoke.

By the end of September we will be in full spring mode, and I cannot wait. Santiago is wonderful in the spring, and by far the best smelling city I’ve ever encountered. To take a stroll through one the parks in the evening is intoxicating and one of my favorite things to do.
Yes, spring is springing, and that can only mean one thing: Summer! It’s been over a year since I’ve experienced summer; I’m ready to get rid of this pasty-white skin and shed the jackets and scarves!
